                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY TO
                   STUDY THE CONCEPT OF A SHARED DISPATCHER
                   SYSTEM WITH THE 911 BOARD AND OTHER
                   JURISDICTIONS WITHIN HAMILTON COUNTY.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor and the Administrator of
       the Department of Safety be and are hereby authorized to study 
the
       concept of a shared dispatcher system with the 911 Board and 
other
       jurisdictions within Hamilton County, and that once a more
       definite proposal is drafted the Mayor or Administrator report to 

       the City Council.
